Here's a little information about our programming

What programs do we offer for k-12 students?
  • On-site in-person: Our in-building programs provide exceptional, hands-on educational experiences for our students with small class sizes. We are proud to have a talented and dedicated staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, support personnel, coaches, a mental health team, a school nurse, and a top-notch administrative team
  • inTandem: This program is ideal for families who seek flexibility while still wanting their students to have daily interaction with our talented teaching staff. The program enables students to work closely with teachers on a daily basis and utilizes our cutting-edge BaseCamp Platform for accessing assignments and activities. Students maintain a structured daily schedule.
  • Virtual: This program is designed for students seeking a high degree of independence. Coursework is provided through video, reading materials, and weekly meetings with mentors and teachers. There is no set daily schedule, allowing students to work at their own pace and with access to coursework 24/7/365.
  • Hybrid Learning: As the name suggests, this program combines elements of both in-person and virtual/inTandem learning. An example might be a middle-school or high-school student who wants to participate in band and choir but excels at online learning. The student could attend classes in-person for music and utilize virtual/inTandem for their core subjects. This is just one example of hybrid learning at Summit Academy. The possibilities are endless!
What programs do we offer for preschool students?
All preschool options are located within our building. We are thrilled to be finishing construction on a state-of-the-art preschool facility, set to open in the fall of 2023.
  • 3 and 4-year-old paid program: This is a half-day program Monday through Friday at a cost of $60 per week.
  • GSRP: The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded preschool for four-year-old children. Families qualify for free preschool based on annual income guidelines. This program meets Monday through Thursday for the regular school day.
